Newsletter - September 2007Concerts re-launched for 2007/8We are delighted to announce that thanks to the generosity of all those who have contributed so generously, we have a season of five concerts planned for 2007/8, starting with a fund-raising concert with the Purcell School orchestra followed by four concerts with the English Classical Players. As well as all the individual support we have received, the 2007/8 concerts are provided thanks to support from by Oracle Residential, Senate Consulting Ltd, the John Lewis Partnership, Watford Borough Council, Classic Concerts Trust, English Classical Players and the Purcell School. This new generation of concerts for Watford introduces an innovative pricing system and a fund-raising plan which aims to create a community of music-lovers to support Watford Town Hall as a venue for classical music for generations to come. For those who book early tickets are available from just £5 per concert - we are hoping that everyone who cares about music in this wonderful hall will not only come but also help to introduce these concerts to new audiences. Booking opens September 10th and tickets can be booked online, by post or by telephone.
