Newsletter - January 2007We wish all our supporters a very Happy New Year!Policy Review Scrutiny Committee - final public meeting January 8thThe good news is contained in the AgendaThis contains a great deal of information which cannot be summarized here but two key points might encourage you to read through the sections of the agenda relevant to the Colosseum: "The Committee agrees that this unique acoustic characteristic should not be wasted. It should be used as a selling point in promoting the venue to put Watford on the entertainment and cultural map of the country. Music events should be a significant part of the venue public performance programme." "The Committee believes that restoration of the Colosseum to a fully-functioning performance venue with a regular programme of diverse entertainment and music events appealing across the age and interest ranges would make a significant contribution to the attaining the Civic Trust vision for town centres of the future."
